The app itself is kind of a mess. My DMs are always struggling to load or not loading at all, & uploading +formatting more than one photo at a time to my actual page is still impossible. Also the fact that it auto refreshes if you're at the top of your feed, even if you're reading & interacting with a post, is infuriating. That being said it's still the only social media I use so it's obviously not that bad. I know they could make it better, though.

Tell me you want to add flashy updates and copy other apps and their functions and not fix bugs without telling me you want to add flashy updates and copy other apps and their functions and not fix bugs. Updated the reels so that you can pause/ play the reel without adding a feature to mute them without using the volume on your phone. So now I can't listen to music on my phone or through my car and watch reels. The sound is also always bugged on reels, always cuts off at the end when I post them

New save option is really clunky. If I wanted to put it in a folder, I'd hold it. Don't open folders automatically when saving. They took away settings to use my default browser. I don't want to open web links in Instagram and then have to switch browsers when it used to be automatic. Need a privacy option for individual posts. Would like to make a few posts and stories public while keeping some family/baby stuff private. Also needs to allow photos without cropping. No way to shut down AI.
